Cooking
I love cooking. I have grown up cooking with my family, and now enjoy finding and creating delicious dishes. Some of the cuisines I can make are; Mexican, Italian, and Korean. Actually, Korean will feature a bit as I am on a mission to learn more Korean dishes to cook for my wife.

Reviewing Restaurants & Cafes
Another thing I like to do is to review and share the fantastic restaurants and cafes I have been to. I really enjoy finding new places to go and visit. I have written food reviews in the past - and before they shuttered their Australian services I was a founding participant on Yelp (AU).

Fun trivia fact: when Yelp first launched in Sydney back in 2012, my review was their featured item in the first Sydney Newsletter;
New TECHNOLOGY / The Internet / Social Media
In the professional page I made mention of loving innovation and new technology. This naturally also applies in my personal life - I love new technlogy and new gadgets. I’m a big geek which you’d probably learn before too long.
The first smart watch
At the beginning of the smart watch era there was the 'Samsung Gear'. It was paired/sold alongside the Galaxy Note 3.
If you look closely (click on the image) on their global marketing campaign, you might recognise the name and face of someone.
Surf Life Saving (Volunteer)
Having grown up at the beach, the neccesity of being able to safely swim in the surf, and my inherent drive to help people naturally meant I joined Whale Beach SLSC when I was 13 years old. From then, I’ve been a long servivce member of Whale Beach SLSC for over 25 years. Being a volunteer lifesaver is such an incredibly important aspect of my youth. During my time at the club I was fortunate to learn new skills, been given an opportunity to give back to the community, and help people in need. As part of this, I learnt leadership, first aid skills & have acted as a first responder in many capacities). These things have translated into my professional life.
Beyond being a volunteer patrol member for many seasons - I also served as the club captain of Whale Beach SLSC for 2 seasons (years). I'm a proud supporter of Whale Beach SLSC and Surf Life Saving in general - and Whale Beach will forever be a special place for me.
